You really want bunk beds, but you hesitate – are they safe? Have they been tested for security? You want to rest easy knowing that your college furniture is safe. We feel the same way. Safety is of highest importance. At University Loft Company, we regard safety first with every ULC bunk bed.
We have designed each product to resist the hardships of daily use and last for years to come. You see, our university furniture has been run through test and been prove to be safe and effective.
For example, ULC’s beds meet the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) requirements on Child Safety Standards for entrapment and guardrail security. To help the owner of the bed continue to meet the CPSC requirements, a warning label is placed by ULC on each bed end.
The bed-ends can be used as ladders to climb to the top bunk. However, some room arrangements and space limitations cause the bed-ends access impossible or unsafe. ULC makes bunk bed ladders to use with the loft beds in addition to the bunks.
Though, CPSC regulations do not actually apply to institutional use such as dormitories, military facilities or prisons, University Loft has a strong commitment to following them. We are committed to excellence as a student residence furniture provider.
