It seems like just a few days ago we were digging holes in the grounds at University Loft Company and planting trees on Arbor Day. Well, it was actually several months back, on April 24, 2015 when high school students joined founder and CEO, James Jannetides and Human Resources Manager, Craig Carter along with a team at ULC to plant seedlings. So what’s happened since Arbor Day? Below are some pictures from the day we planted the trees.
University Loft Company cares about our natural world. We have utilized a Green Plan and do our part in being friendly to the ecological flow by using some recycled materials in our university furniture and other fine products and Environmentally Farmed Timber also known as Hevea Brasiliensis. The wood from this tree is hard and strong in addition to fast growing, which makes our student furniture durable and long lasting. Compared to Red Oak, Hevea Brasiliensis is stronger and grows 5 times faster.
The trees planted on Arbor Day 2015 took a liking to the grounds in Greenfield, Indiana and are growing spectacularly. Take a look at how nicely the trees are growing. These photos were recently taken by Facility Supervisor, Rafael Garcia.
