University Loft is Honoring Those Who Gave the Ultimate Sacrifice

Did you know that Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day? It began in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. It was birthed to honor the men and women who died while serving in the US military. During the three-day weekend, many will visit the graves of their loved ones, parades will be held and gatherings will take place. University Loft is honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice in service to their country. We also want to honor those who have fought the battles well and have come home again. To know that you have given your all for the people back at home living in the land that we love, gives us peace of mind and heart.

University Loft considers it an honor as well to supply GSA Defense Quarters for several military bases in the United States. Like our service men and women, military housing from University Loft Company is a powerhouse of strength and virtue. We build furniture from solid wood made from Environmentally Farmed Timber which tested stronger than Northern Red Oak. We also offer the cool look of metal blended with the warmth of wood. Either type of military housing furniture used is crafted to endure daily wear for years to come, ergonomically built for comfort, and carries a style that never goes out.

This Memorial Day we remember our fallen men and women who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We remember and thank the families left behind. May their memory live on forever.

“While our competitors draw copies of our furniture and call it their own, we bring you the real deal.” Says founder and CEO, James N. Jannetides. University Loft Company blazes new and exciting trails with innovative products for military housing, universities, apartment complexes and off-campus housing as a leader in the contract furniture industry.

Until next time ~ Ginger Bock
