University Loft doesn’t just design and build amazing furniture! We try to make conscious decisions that preserve the environment. As you may already know, we use EFT (environmentally farmed timber) as part of our green initiative. This choice was made not only out of our sense of responsibility to the environment but also our sense of duty to future generations. After all, the choices we make in our lives now affect what their lives will be like later!
It is our responsibility to set a precedent for the generations to come. That is one of the reasons University Loft is participating in the Feed the Hungry Initiative! University Loft Chief Executive James Jannetides and our employees work with our corporate pastor, Del Bock, every Friday evening to feed the homeless of downtown Indianapolis.
More than one hundred people come to enjoy a wholesome meal served by University Loft and many other local volunteers every Friday from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. It is our hope that these people leave with a full belly and the knowledge that there are people who care enough to donate their time to make sure they are properly fed.
At University Loft, we are all about doing whatever we can for the welfare of the world around us. When making furniture, we aim to be environmentally conscious and produce comfortable and dependable furniture. By helping to feed the hungry, we are taking our responsibility to the next level. University Loft strives to make decisions that benefit society both in the present and in the future.
