Livability.com recently released its list of Top College Towns for 2012, and a couple of University Loft customer colleges’ home towns made the list. We salute Utah State in Logan, Utah (ranked #3) and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan (tied for #9). While University Loft can’t claim to have made a difference in these off-campus rankings, we take pride in contributing to the on-campus college living environment to hundreds of colleges in great towns and cities across America and around the world.
What makes a great college town? According to Livability.com, true college towns are “melting pots where young minds meet old traditions, and political, social and cultural ideas of all kinds are welcomed.”
At University Loft, we think that pretty well describes the on-campus residence life at most of the colleges and universities we serve. After all, isn’t a residence hall really like a city within a city? And within this micro-community, because each dorm room is a home away from home, we work hard at University Loft to make sure it’s a comfortable and functional place to live and learn.
So, wherever you find University Loft student furniture in college towns, for more than 25 years, tens of thousands of college students have found ULoft dorm room furniture very livable (and lovable), indeed. We’re pretty proud of that.
