I never had a treehouse, but always wished I had. Even after becoming an adult, I imagined that living aloft would be cool, my fervor fueled by a trip to Disney World some (mumble mumble) years ago, where I toured the Swiss Family treehouse (inspired by the Disney film, Swiss Family Robinson). The Robinson family’s shipwreck and virtual isolation notwithstanding, I at least envied them for their fortunate accommodations. Likewise, I’m envious of today’s college and university students who have University Loft’s solid wood furniture in their student residences. Climbing into the top bunk after a hard day on campus must sometimes feel like coming home to a personal treehouse refuge and university living at its finest!
Here are some surprising parallels:
Fortified to withstand the elements. ULoft furniture is made from Hevea Brasiliensis, a type of Environmentally Farmed Timber (EFT) that has been proven stronger than Northern Red Oak. ULoft beds have been tested to withstand more than 4 tons of pressure, so they can definitely withstand the wear and tear of daily college student use! The Swiss Family Treehouse was also built to withstand the elements, but unlike ULoft’s solid wood construction for its student furniture, alas, the theme park version of the treehouse only looked like real wood; rather, it was made of steel-reinforced concrete and stucco.
Space efficient, easy access. While the Robinsons knew how to get in and out of their treehouse while keeping some pesky pirates at bay, students who enjoy University Loft furniture in their university housing know that ULoft furniture maximizes space while making access easy even to the top bunk! Bed ends can serve as ladders, or if the bed ends are not accessible, secure ladder attachments can be added.
Crowd pleasing success. Just like the Swiss Family Robinson movie from 1960, University Loft furniture is a time-honored hit! The Disney film grossed around $40,000,000 in its day, a figure that, when adjusted for inflation, according to Wikipedia, makes it one of the all-time biggest blockbusters. ULoft furniture continues to be a crowd favorite, too, with more than a thousand colleges and universities choosing University Loft’s modular student housing furniture. Because so many university housing administrators and furniture buyers prefer University Loft student furniture, hundreds of thousands of students across America and around the globe enjoy better living and learning environments.
So check out ULoft’s solid wood furniture for college and university student residences. It’ll make you feel young, safe and on top of the world.
