Not Exactly Roughing It: Campground Facilities Could Use Furniture from University Loft

Roughing It is Easier with University Loft Solid Wood Student FurnitureIt occurred to me while indoors reading on a rainy vacation day at a campground: the lodge facilities were much like a residence hall; and the rooms would be more functional and comfortable if they made use of University Loft’s solid wood furniture for colleges and universities.

I was staying in the lodge because I’m not exactly a rugged outdoorsman. (I prefer to keep my distance from snakes and mosquitoes.) So as I sat there, my mind wandering as the rain washed out hopes of getting some sun that day, I realized that lots of campgrounds probably have similar facilities, with lodge-type buildings that house individual rooms and common restroom and shower areas (his and hers, of course).

The more I thought about it, I recalled my dorm room at the university I attended back in the day. Actually, my room at the lodge was smaller than my dorm room, so naturally I began to wish for the space-maximizing efficiency of University Loft’s modular student furniture. Imagine how much more room I would have enjoyed in the lodge quarters if the bed had been elevated and the desk and/or dresser placed below. (I wouldn’t have been tripping over suitcases and coolers and duffel bags each time I got out of bed, I can tell you that!)

And unlike the worn-out and mismatched furniture at the campground, ULoft college furniture is purpose-built to withstand the rigors of college students and dormitory living. How long would University Loft furniture last in a more easy-going environment? We may never know, but I’ll bet the parade of campground lodgers would be well served and comfortable for decades!

So, yes, my vacation was a thought-provoking and learning experience. Hmmm, that sounds like college, too.

How about you? Can you think of another great place for University Loft student furniture?
