At University Loft Company, we love April. Not just because a fresh array of blooms pop out of the ground and dance on the trees, not just because the weather becomes warmer, not just because the sun shines brighter, and not just because the days are longer – although all those are tremendous reasons to love April. But we love this month because part of our green initiative is to hold our annual tree planting event on the grounds of University Loft Company in Greenfield, Indiana.
We take into consideration our natural world by using Environmentally Farmed Timber and recycled materials whenever possible. Our standard of excellence shows in the furniture we build, whether for universities, off-campus housing, defense quarters, apartment complexes or multi-family units. University Loft is a leader in the contract furniture industry and we take that seriously. That’s another reason we host the annual tree-planting event in honor of Arbor Day. We want to give back to the environment. This year it will be held on Friday, April 18th. Students from Cathedral High School will get enjoy a lunch provided by University Loft and get some dirt under their fingernails as they plant saplings on the grounds that day. It’s worth it! Events like the annual tree planting make University Loft Company stand out from others.
