I recently wrote about how young movie star Dakota Fanning went back to school but chose to live off campus in an apartment. I mused that perhaps her decision to bypass the college residence life experience was based on the fact that her school did not use University Loft student furniture in their dorm rooms. Even if that wasn’t Dakota’s reasoning, it made me wonder if other Hollywood celebrities who went back to school chose universities that are University Loft schools. Turns out, quite a few celebs matriculated at ULoft institutions:
For example, did you know that Jodie Foster not only attended Yale University, but graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in literature? Or that Claire Danes also chose Yale for her studies in Psychology? It’s true. And how about Shaquille O’Neal? This athlete and actor attended University Loft client college Louisiana State University. Then there’s Steven Spielberg at California State and Sandra Bullock at East Carolina University.
These Hollywood luminaries certainly know their craft – in the group named above there are 29 total Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy awards earned. They also know how to pick fine institutions of higher learning. And those colleges and universities, in turn, know a thing or two about picking outstanding college and university furniture. Maybe that’s why they picked University Loft’s solid wood modular student furniture. Our college furnishings are durable performers that wow critical student furniture buyers and dorm dwellers alike. Maybe that’s why our college furniture can be found in more than a thousand colleges and universities across America and around the world.
