Cause and Effect: Buying University Loft College Dormitory Furniture Creates a Better Residence Life Experience

One thing leads to another, right? Cause leads to effect. This truth, of course, can be good or bad. Take the world of student furniture manufacturing, for example. It would be easy to take the too-commonly-traveled path of inferior materials and poor craftsmanship. After all, a bed’s a bed, a desk is a desk, and wood is wood, right? WRONG. At University Loft Company, we use better materials and stronger construction techniques in our environmentally-responsible solid wood college residence hall furniture. Why? Cause and effect:

Cause and Effect: University Loft Furniture Makes a Better Residence Life Experience

Cause: We build ULoft dormitory furniture using super-strong Hevea Brasiliensis (stronger than Northern Red Oak, by the way). Effect: Furniture that not only looks great, but stands up to the demands of college residence life.

Cause: We craft University Loft solid wood furniture for student apartments and on-campus housing using only the best and most time-tested joining techniques, like dovetail joints in drawers, and mortise and tenon joints in our Two-Position Chairs. Effect: Years of durable use in dorm rooms, student lounges and other college residence life spaces.

Cause: Our HB wood is an Environmentally Farmed Timber that grows quickly, so it can be harvested and replenished more frequently. (It can even be tapped during its lifecycle for a type of rubber used in latex production.) Effect: A better, greener planet.

Cause: University Loft student furniture products and typically crafted with care in America. Effect: American manufacturing plants in American communities creating American jobs.

Bottom line: At University Loft Company, we work hard to make not just better furniture for residence halls and student housing, but a better residence life experience for students. We use better materials, better construction techniques and we take care of the planet. It’s a matter of cause and effect. It’s a matter of doing the right things. The things that, well… matter!
